As members and visitors drive up the tree-lined approach to Thorndon Park, they escape from the hassle of life and enter a place of tranquillity with a warm welcome for everybody.
Thorndon Park's clubhouse is spacious and comfortable, with wonderful views from the bars, lounges and dining room down the ninth and tenth fairways and the 18th green.
Inside, the locker rooms and showers (with complimentary towels and lockers) are modern and well-equipped. Outside, the patio and terraces offer a delightful environment for warm-weather drinks and snacks.
Our House Manager, Bill Wignall, and his team will be pleased to look after societies and individual visitors. At the bar, there is a wide selection of beers and spirits, plus a comprehensive and good-value wine list.
In the dining room, our Chef, Lewis Noah, and his staff will provide meals from an extensive range – everything from full English breakfast and bar snacks to his famous carvery and five-course dinners.
