Membership

Thorndon Park Golf Club encourages members to introduce their golfing friends to become members. The main criteria are that a candidate should have a proposer and seconder who have been known to him/her for at least four years, be acquainted with several other members, have played golf at Thorndon Park, and be aware of the traditions of the Club.

Thorndon Park offers several categories of membership. For men and ladies, there is seven-day or five-day membership, as well as country membership for those living outside a 75-mile radius of the club.

As a general rule, men who are full members can play at any time except the Wednesday morning times allocated to the ladies, and ladies who are full members can play at any time except before 11.30am on Saturdays and 11am on Sundays.

Thorndon Park also welcomes junior players, proposed and seconded by members, to join our thriving cadets’ section.
